“We’ve had the pleasure of having Mel capture two very special moments in our lives so far.
Firstly, Mel photographed the birth of our second son, Avery. I was feeling awkward about the thought of someone I didn’t know in my birthing space, however, I absolutely have no regrets. Mel was intuitive enough to know when we needed a moment, but there were also moments where my husband & I were so glad for her presence.
Between my husband & I, our amazing midwife, and Mel, it felt like our own little birthing family. Not to mention her work!! I still get emotional looking at the images Mel captured for us. I will cherish them forever. Most recently, we had a session in our own home to mark the birth of our third son.
I was nervous about the older children as they can be very shy around new faces, however, from the minute Mel walked in, they were instantly comfortable & fighting for her attention! The images Mel captured for us this time around are also so, so precious, and something both my husband & I hold very dear. They are just... stunning. Mel is a beautiful soul who produces beautiful work.
